Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, putting the spotlight on the fighting title's beloved cast and some of the spectacular things you'll be doing in the CyberConnect2-created game when it releases on January 17.
In the aforementioned trailer, titled "This Time on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot," we get a small tease of the upcoming attractions, from epic boss battles with Raditz, Frieza, and Cell to more ordinary activities, like fishing, flying, eating, and obviously training to advance through the story with ease.
Given that CyberConnect2 is responsible for the bombastic Asura's Wrath and long-running Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series, you can expect to take part in some truly larger-than-life battles, but with a twist — as Kakarot will feature "vast battlefields with destructible environments."
Furthermore, fans of the original anime may want to activate their hype engines right now, as Kakarot will supposedly "answer some burning questions of Dragon Ball lore for the first time."
With Kakarot releasing in two weeks, we should learn a whole lot more about the project in the coming days. In the meantime, take a closer look at Goku's great adventure in the action-packed trailer down below:
Relive the story of Goku and other Z Fighters in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT! Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the DRAGON BALL Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and others. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 17, 2020.
