Explore the Mystery Behind a Beached Military Vessel in THE SURGE 2: THE KRAKEN Teaser Trailer

Category: Role-Playing Games
The first major DLC for The Surge 2 debuts next week, introducing players to the retro-themed suburban environment of the VBS Krakow — a truly massive aircraft carrier retrofitted as a retreat for the rich and famous of Jericho City.
The Kraken expansion will officially come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 16, 2020.
Those who have purchased The Surge 2 Season Pass — currently priced at $19,99 — will get an exclusive 48 hours early access, meaning they will be able to play before everyone else — starting on the 14th of January.
According to Deck 13, the DLC will add "hours of narrative-driven content with a brand-new storyline and location, as well as a wealth of new weapons, implants and armor to discover and craft" to the base game.
The Kraken will also task you with defeating an all-new boss, but his description is rather vague (we only know that he's "imposing"), so it's clear that the German developer doesn't want to spoil any surprises ahead of the DLC's imminent release.
Without further ado, take a look at The Surge 2: The Kraken in the action-packed teaser trailer down below:
The Surge 2 presents a harsh, sci-fi, dystopian world to explore and survive. Create your own character and decide how to approach the hardcore melee combat, putting your reactions and RPG character-building skills to the test. Deep character progression and customization lets you decide how to equip yourself and handle enemies - with many additions over the original game, including challenging but rewarding directional parries and companion drones with dozens of uses. Limb-targeting and executions return new and improved, so get ready to target, loot, and equip everything you see on your enemies.
The Surge 2 is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam and Origin).
