As promised, Bethesda Softworks has released an action-packed gameplay trailer for DOOM: ETERNAL — shining a new light on the id Software-developed video game's bloody gameplay mechanics and overall story premise.
In DOOM: ETERNAL, Earth has been turned into the playground of the forces of Heaven and Hell. With the planet's situation being rather terrible, one DOOM Slayer will rise above all to stop the violence and chaos... by ruthlessly killing every demon (and corrupted angel) he'll find during his epic quest to bring back order.
According to id Software, DOOM: ETERNAL will also let the player learn more about the origins of the brave Slayer, but let's not pretend that the upcoming project will be some amazing achievement story-wise.
DOOM: ETERNAL is all about bullets, double rifles, blades, flamethrowers and any other weapon you can find in-game to aid yourself in the uneven fight against the terrible horde and other players in multiplayer.
Without further ado, buckle and check out the intense gameplay trailer for DOOM: ETERNAL down below:
As the DOOM Slayer, you return to find Earth has suffered a demonic invasion. Raze Hell and discover the Slayer’s origins and his enduring mission to rip and tear…until it is done. Experience the ultimate combination of speed and power as you battle your way across dimensions with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.
DOOM: ETERNAL will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC on the 20th of March; coming to Nintendo Switch at a later date.
