Although it's hard to find a player who hasn't heard about Rainbow 6: Siege, chances are that even fans of the FPS are not familiar with Harishva “Harry” Pandey — Team Rainbow's leader who made his debut in the Hammer and the Scalpel trailer a year ago.
Six Invitational 2020 is right around the corner — the annual professional Rainbow Six Siege tournament will be held from February 14th to February 16th in the game’s hometown of Montreal, Canada — and to spice things up, Ubisoft has released an all-new CGI trailer for the beloved shooter.
In the new trailer — titled The Program — we're following Harry, who's in the middle of "gathering the greatest Operators from around the world." As you can guess, they are preparing to "prove their worth" at this year's Six Invitational.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft doesn't seem to be interested in delving deeper in the game's universe story-wise (which is pretty weird given that we're talking about a Tom Clancy's project), but the trailer itself does a pretty good job spotlighting the title's main (and ever-growing) cast of playable characters.
While we'll have to wait for more details on the mysterious Program initiative until tomorrow, be sure to take a look at the latest cinematic trailer for Rainbow 6: Siege right now:
The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam, Origin, Uplay and the EGS).
