A Sequel to RESIDENT EVIL 7: BIOHAZARD May Be More Action-Oriented and Set in Eastern Europe
2017's Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was a smashing hit, so it's rather obvious that Capcom is working hard on a sequel to that first-person horror — and another wave of rumours regarding the title suggests it will be set in Eastern Europe.
Given that we're still talking about rumours from individuals who claim to have access to details on the next numbered entry in the main Resident Evil series, be sure to take said information with a grain of salt.
According to German gaming channel GAMEZ.de, Resident Evil 8 will allow the player explore snowy villages and a huge castle — although it won't be as big as the one in 2005's Resident Evil 4. As revealed by GAMEZ, the brand-new Resident Evil video game will also embrace "a medieval setting and enemy designs."
What should make fans of the older Resident Evil games more than happy, the rumoured Resident Evil 8 will reportedly be much more action-oriented than Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, but it's not clear what it means.
At the time of this writing, Capcom had not shared any details on a potential sequel to Resident Evil 7.
