Developer 4A Games has proudly announced that the second — and unfortunately last — story expansion for the award-winning Metro: Exodus is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC — also on Steam.
That's right, after a year of waiting, Metro: Exodus is finally arriving on Steam today, and you can pick up the title on Valve's platform for 40% off. As a reminder, Exodus used to be an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC.
When it comes of the aforementioned DLC, titled Sam's Story, it is included in the Metro Exodus Expansion Pass, which also grants the player access to the previously released Metro Exodus - The Two Colonels DLC.
In Metro Exodus - Sam's Story, the player will embark on a dangerous journey as the titular US Marine turned Spartan Ranger. The DLC takes place after the evens of the base game, shedding new light on Sam's quest to return to his homeland, and "to complete his journey, Sam will discover that he needs every tactic he has learned so far to survive, as his surroundings prove to be far trickier than expected."
With the expansion available now, be sure to take a look at its action-packed launch trailer down below:
Metro Exodus is an epic, story-driven first person shooter from 4A Games that blends deadly combat and stealth with exploration and survival horror in one of the most immersive game worlds ever created. Flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an epic, continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia in the greatest Metro adventure yet.
Metro Exodus is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC (via the Epic Games Store and Steam).
