LITTLE HOPE Is the Next Entry in THE DARK PICTURES ANTHOLOGY; Coming Summer 2020
Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco have revealed new details on The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, the next entry in the British studio's original horror series, which will be released worldwide at some point this summer.
In the upcoming Man of Medan sequel, players will find themselves trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of Little Hope. Just like the first instalment, the game will focus on five characters, this time putting the spotlight on four college students and their professor, "who must escape the nightmarish visions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog."
"As they journey through the town looking for a means of escape, they must understand the meaning of these events, the root of the evil, and how it is directly connected to them," the synopsis reads.
"We've been delighted by the reaction from players and the success of Man of Medan as the first instalment of The Dark Pictures Anthology” CEO of Supermassive Games Pete Samuels said. “We really appreciate feedback from the community and the team remains committed to the goal of making each new instalment deliver further thrilling horror experiences, with the next chapter, Little Hope, bringing an all new and disturbing horror story to the anthology," Samuels concluded.
As a reminder, each Dark Pictures video game features two multiplayer modes. In the first one, you "share your story and play with a friend online," while the so-called Movie Night mode allows you to "play with up to 5 players in an offline pass-the-pad mode."
