The Latest Trailers for People Can Fly's OUTRIDERS Showcase the Dark Side of the Alien Planet Enoch

Outriders is a massive undertaking for People Can Fly, as the renowned creators of 2011's Bulletstorm and 2013's Gears of War: Judgment are planning to reinvent the so-called looter shooter genre for the next generation of consoles.
While the title is coming in 2020, the Polish studio has decided to make the wait a little easier, and recently released two new trailers for the game. In the first video, Art Director Bartosz Bieluszko, Technical Art Director Krzysztof Dolas and Senior Narrative Designer Szymon Barchan revealed some new information about the upcoming third-person shooter's unique setting — the alien planet known as Enoch.
According to the artists, designing a completely original world has proven a real challenge, as the team had some "wacky ideas" during pre-production, including getting rid of all the in-game sources of electricity.
As revealed during an interview with Game Informer, "Enoch is a rare breed of “Goldilocks” planets, which is neither too hot nor too cold to sustain human life, with a breathable atmosphere and gravitational pull that won’t instantly crush us. Before we can colonize this rich new home, there’s one final formality: The Outriders have to make a quick landfall and ensure that it is, indeed, the paradise scientists have promised us all."
The second trailer was released at this year's PAX East, allowing the audience to take a closer look at the game's key visuals and some of its distinct biomes, such as snowy mountains, swamps and vast deserts.
