HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED ANNIVERSARY Is Available Now for PC With THE MASTER CHIEF COLLECTION

It didn't take long for Microsoft to officially confirm that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is coming to PC today as the second instalment of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, joining the previously released port of 2010's classic Halo: Reach.

"We’re excited for players to continue their legendary Spartan saga with the PC release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary into The Master Chief Collection. Available now with @XboxGamePassPC, Windows 10 PC, and Steam," Microsoft announced on Twitter a couple of hours ago.

With Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo: Reach finally playable on PC after months of waiting, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Campaign, and Halo 4 should come to PC in the not too distant future.

Created by 343 Industries, Bungie & Saber Interactive, the PC port of the first Halo game is "looking better than ever at up to 4K UHD and at 60+ FPS. Other PC native settings include customizable mouse and keyboard support, ultrawide support, FOV customization, and more," at least according to Microsoft.

Without further ado, take a closer look at Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on PC in the trailer down below:

Combat Evolved Anniversary is a spectacularly remastered version of the original “Halo” campaign, created in celebration of the 10th anniversary of one of the most beloved franchises in gaming history. Experience the first chapter in the Master Chief’s epic saga and discover an ancient super weapon, the Halo ring.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is currently available for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store).
