It took longer than expected, but Ubisoft has finally confirmed when Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint's Immersive Experience launches, as the core feature may very well change the open-world shooter's bleak-looking future.
As revealed by the French publisher, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint's Title Update 2.0 is coming on March 24.
After downloading the completely free update, players will be able to select one of the three game modes: the Regular, Immersive or Custom Experience. While they will offer unique features, nothing will stop gamers from playing together in different modes in co-op, or even freely switching between them at any point.
When it comes to the Regular Experience, it's basically the Ghost Recon Breakpoint you know (and love?).
As for the aforementioned Immersive Experience, it "removes gear level and introduces a more realistic loot system, as well as a host of new tactical settings designed to heighten your immersion, such as stamina management, ammo loss on reload, health regen, risk of injury, and more."
Finally, the Custom Experience "gives players an extensive array of options so they can find the balance between the Regular and Immersive Experiences that works for them," at least according to Ubisoft.
Without further ado, learn more about the three new modes in the Ghost Experience trailer down below:
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a military shooter set in a diverse, hostile, and mysterious open world that you can play entirely solo or in four-player co-op. Injured, without support, and hunted down by ex-Ghosts, you must fight to survive while lost in Auroa. Choose the right alliances and decide how to take down your toughest enemy.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC (via Uplay, Origin and the Epic Games Store).
