The Doom Slayer Is Beautiful Like an Angel in the Latest Trailer for id Software's DOOM: ETERNAL

DOOM: Eternal is not only about killing hordes of angry demons, learning new skills and saving Earth — as the id Software–developed video game is also giving you the unique chance to make the DOOM Slayer truly your own.

That's right, during your personal journey through the completely ruined planet, you will unlock various skins, animations, and podiums to customise the main hero the way you like it — including Cupid-like wings!

Once you're done with the main campaign, nothing will stop you from jumping in the multiplayer mode as your own DOOM Slayer. What's even better, customising the playable demons will also be a valid option.

Considering that Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Bethesda Pete Hines recently revealed that Shinji Mikami's GhostWire: Tokyo "does have an interesting parallel to DOOM: Eternal," maybe he actually meant customising the game's protagonist (or possibly even annihilating all those mysterious demon spawns we've seen in the horror game's wonderfully bizarre announcement trailer).

As a reminder, DOOM: Eternal is coming PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC in just ten days. Take a look:

As the DOOM Slayer, you return to find Earth has suffered a demonic invasion. Raze Hell and discover the Slayer’s origins and his enduring mission to rip and tear…until it is done. Experience the ultimate combination of speed and power as you battle your way across dimensions with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.

DOOM: ETERNAL will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC (via Steam) on the 20th of March; coming to Nintendo Switch at a later date.
