At the recent Lyon Esport 2020 event, the Ubisoft Nadeo team allowed the audience to take a look at the remake of 2006's Trackmania Nations — and chances are the fast-approaching title will satisfy even longtime fans of the series.
During the presentation, two members of the French team showcased some new features that will debut in the upcoming remake, including new track-creation options, never-before-seen surfaces and special blocks.
As a reminder, Ubisoft Nadeo's Trackmania Nations: Remake is officially coming to PC on May 5, 2020.
"In Trackmania [Nations: Remake], we will have daily and weekly casual cups, seasonal official campaign rankings, and a Grand League & Open Grand League happening two times a year," Managing Director at Nadeo Florent “Hylis” Castelnerac said in an interview with Ubisoft last month.
Taking into account that the full-blown remake of the classic racing game releases in less than two months, Ubisoft will definitely reveal new details on the new Trackmania in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out over 15 minutes of pure Trackmania Nations: Remake gameplay footage in the video down below:
