Sam Fisher Is Back in New Trailer for GHOST RECON: BREAKPOINT's SPLINTER CELL–Themed Mission

The main star of the once-great Splinter Cell franchise will finally return tomorrow in a special Ghost Recon: Breakpoint mission, which will allow all fans of either Ubisoft-created game series bring peace to the fictional island of Aurora.
Said content drop will be free to all Breakpoint owners. During the mission, Sam Fisher — voiced once again by Michael Ironside — and the Ghosts will try to "uncover a plot involving mind-controlled drones."
According to Ubisoft, the "Operation Checkmate" campaign will consist of eight missions that push players to use new stealth-focused gameplay elements, including the sonar vision and the "Defense Drone" ability.
Although all players will have access to the first mission for free, purchasing the game's Year One Pass — for $39.99 — will be necessary to gain access to the other story-driven missions. Fans will also be able to purchase the highly anticipated DLC separately for 1900 Ghost Coins (nearly $23.00).
The so-called Ghost Experience also arrives with the update, introducing a revamped loot system and more.
If you haven't played Ghost Recon: Breakpoint yet, you can give it a try during the upcoming free weekend, which will run from March 26-29 and will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & PC (sorry, Stadia fans).
