SNIPER GHOST WARRIOR CONTRACTS 2 Might Release in 2020; Sequel Will Feature Surprising Mechanics

Considering that last year's Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts managed to fix the majority of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3's mistakes, it comes as no surprise that developer CI Games is willing to release a new entry in the spin-off series as soon as possible.

Earlier today, the studio's CEO Marek Tymiński reaffirmed his previous statement that a sequel to Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts will probably be launching at some point this year. According to Tymiński, the game development process runs smoothly, as the team at CI Games reportedly knows exactly what it's doing.

As revealed by Tymiński, CI Games is developing an all-new feature that should make both newcomers and fans of the long-running franchise interested in playing Contracts 2 (a co-op mode instantly comes to mind), but the CEO unfortunately didn't reveal any concrete details on that mysterious gameplay mechanism.

Although the first Contracts game was set in Siberia, the fast-approaching instalment will allow the player to explore a new part of the world. The sequel is coming to PC and consoles, likely Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

As a reminder, the Polish game developer is also hard at work on the long-delayed Lords of the Fallen 2.
