THIS WAR OF MINE and FROSTPUNK Creators Are Officially Developing Three Brand-New Games

11 bit studios — the renowned creators of Anomaly: Warzone Earth, This War of Mine and Frostpunk — are officially developing three new video games, and chances are that at least one of them will debut in the next few months.

Today, 11 bit studios announced financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2019. Thanks to the excellent sales of the company's back catalogue, the Warsaw-based game developer reported a quarterly net profit of PLN 11,7 mln, exceeding expectations by 64%. 11 bit studios' earnings stability will reportedly allow the Polish developer to produce three brand-new titles simultaneously.

The mysterious Project 8 — which has been in production since at least May 2018 — is only one of them.

Although we know next to nothing about that instalment, 11 bit is hoping to launch a new game every 12-18 months. Given that the studio's latest release — the acclaimed Frostpunk — initially hit stores in April 2018, there's a chance that 11 bit will finally share new details on its next big thing in the near future.

Frostpunk is also coming to iOS and Android devices, but the mobile port doesn't have a release date yet.
