CASTLEVANIA: SEASON 4 Has Been Officially Announced by Netflix; Series Will Stay R-Rated
Writer Warren Ellis and Netflix have announced that the recently released third season of the Castlevania show definitely won't be the last one, as the streaming giant has already greenlit yet another entry in its critically acclaimed animated series.
"The NX team made this asset for the announcement, and it cracks me up, even as I know it cements the understanding in the minds of the audience that everything continues to be my fault," Ellis said on his website. "So. Here we go again. The fourth season of an R-rated adult animation drama series. Who the hell thought that would happen?," the award-winning comics (and Dead Space) writer added.
As a friendly reminder, the Sam Deats-directed third season of Castlevania made its debut on March, 2020.
Considering that Deats, Ellis, and Executive Producers Adi Shankar, Fred Seibert and Kevin Kolde all played a role in bringing the first seasons to (after)life, chances are that they will also return for the fourth season.
At the time of this writing, Netflix hadn't revealed any official details on the upcoming Castlevania: Season 4.
