Created at Toylogic — the makers of Happy Dungeons and Happy Wars — the newly revealed NieR Replicant Ver.1.22474487139 is an upgraded version of Nier Replicant (the original Japanese PS3 release); coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC. Considering that the new edition of the 2010 title is supervised by director Yoko Taro and producer Yosuke Saito, fans of the series should definitely keep an eye on this year's NieR Replicant.
The original prequel to PlatinumGames' critically acclaimed NieR: Automata "invites players into a dark, apocalyptic world as they join a brother’s captivating quest to cure his sister of a deadly disease - a quest which will in turn make them question everything," according to publisher Square Enix.
NieR Replicant Ver.1.22474487139 will be scored by composer Keiichi Okabe (Tekken 7, NieR: Automata).
The upcoming title will reportedly introduce new characters and potentially have one more ending. As a reminder, NieR Replicant is the Japanese version of the first NieR, which was titled NieR Gestalt on Xbox 360.
