MAFIA II: DEFINITIVE EDITION Leaks Once Again; MAFIA III: DEFINITIVE EDITION Might Be on the Way

It seems that both Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition are on the way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC — at least according to the Taiwanese Game Rating Board, everybody's best source for latest gaming news. Considering that almost every single last-gen 2K-published game has received the "Enhanced" treatment for PS4 and XBO, it's safe to say that the board's recent revelations are true.

Taking into account that the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee has already rated Mafia II: Definitive Edition, the new edition of the critically acclaimed open-world title is all but officially confirmed.

As a reminder, the Taiwanese board had spoiled the Switch editions of XCOM 2 Collection, Catherine: Full Body and BioShock: The Collection long before 2K announced these Switch ports at the recent Direct Mini.

Although Mafia III is a relatively fresh (and quite divisive) project, the fact that Mafia II will be available for current-gen consoles at some point in the future surely is good news for fans of well-made sandbox games.

The yet-to-be-announced Mafia II: Definitive Edition will possibly include the base game and its three story expansions — The Betrayal of Jimmy, Jimmy's Vendetta, and Joe's Adventures, with Mafia III: Definitive Edition probably featuring the 2016 title and the following DLC: Stone Unturned, Sign of Times, and Faster Baby.
