Ada Wong Will Also Play a Role in the Story of Upcoming RESIDENT EVIL Movie, Trusted Source Says
According to a proven source, some of the most popular Resident Evil characters will make an appearance in the long-awaited movie reboot of Capcom's franchise — and Ada Wong might also play a role in the horror story. Her involvement would make many fans excited, but it's worth remembering that it's nothing official.
The ambiguous heroin was a supporting character in Resident Evil 2 and its remake as well as Resident Evil 6.
That's the latest rumour to come from insider Daniel Richtman, who recently revealed that Claire Redfield would be the main protagonist of the Johannes Roberts–directed adaptation, with her brother, Chris, Jill Valentine, and Leon Kennedy also being a major focal point of the highly anticipated feature-length flick.
If Richtman's revelations are true, the upcoming reboot could very well be the most faithful movie based on the series yet, putting the spotlight on the heroes (and one anti-hero) people are actually familiar with.
As a reminder, the movie's screenplay was written by Tony Giglio (Resident Evil: Afterlife, Doom: Annihilation).
