Main OUTRIDERS Classes Steal the Spotlight in Snippets of Never-Before-Seen Gameplay Footage
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Designed by the team responsible for Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgement, Outriders is People Can Fly's answer to Destiny and The Division, giving players the chance to the embark on a dangerous journey across the planet Enoch. Although the Painkiller studio's action-packed production won't hit stores until this holiday season, publisher Square Enix has released a bunch of short (but sweet) teasers for Outriders.
Before starting the first mission, players will choose a character class and customise their look. Outriders will feature four classes: the Trickster, Pyromancer, and Devastator, as the last one is being kept a secret for now.
In Outriders, Devastators will effectively fill the tank role in any squad (the game will be playable in co-op), channelling gravity-defying powers. Those who prefer sneaking around (and altering timelines) should keep an eye on the Trickster, while fans of healing their friends will probably enjoy playing as the Pyromancer.
As a reminder, Outriders is a cross-gen project, which means that it will be available not only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but also their successors — PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X — as well as PC (via Steam).
