Sony has shared an official launch trailer for Predator: Hunting Grounds, a new asymmetrical multiplayer shooter that allows gamers take on the role of the titular monster and find a way to eliminate every single member of an elite 4-person team. Obviously, the lucky player controlling the fan-favourite beast will have to do whatever it takes to successfully annihilate the human squad before they complete their missions.
With Predator: Hunting Ground releasing for PlayStation 4 and PC (arriving on the Epic Games Store) this Friday, fans of the genre — and most importantly, 2015's Evolve — won't have to wait too long to play it.
According to Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, his Alan "Dutch" Schaefer will make a return in Hunting Grounds, but developer Illfonic has yet to share any concrete details on the actor's role in the game.
Although the development team at Illfonic has some ideas for Predator: Hunting Grounds' post-launch support phase, the studio is currently focusing on the fast-approaching debut of their latest project.
