Award-Winning VADER IMMORTAL: A STAR WARS VR SERIES Is Officially Coming to PlayStation VR

The Oculus Quest & Oculus Rift S–exclusive Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is coming to PlayStation VR this summer, and what's even better, all 3 episodes and Lightsaber Dojos will be available for purchase together, for the first time. According to Lucasfilm, the game is a canonical part of the Star Wars galaxy.

For those unfamiliar with Vader Immortal, it's set between Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: A New Hope, and also connected to the events of ILMxLAB's other VR title, Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire.

"Back in 2016, when ILMxLAB first started talking about creating a canonical VR series that focused on Darth Vader, our goal was to tell a new and unique story about one of the most infamous villains in the galaxy," ILMxLAB's Executive Creative Producer Mark Miller explained on the PlayStation Blog.

"We wanted to bring you into the world of Star Wars in a way that could only be done through immersive storytelling in VR. This would put YOU right in the middle of the action to connect with amazing characters as your actions move the story forward. [...] The team is hard at work getting the story up and running for PS VR, and we can’t wait for you all to experience it and meet Vader face to face. We’ll have more to share in the coming months," Miller concluded.

To celebrate the 4th of May, the development team at ILMxLAB has released a new key visual for the fast-approaching PS VR edition of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series. Be sure to check it out down below:
