ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA Will Be Scored by Jesper Kyd, Sarah Schachner and Einar Selvik
Unlike previous Assassin's Creed games, AC: Valhalla won't be scored by one composer (in the case of AC: Odyssey, a band), as Jesper Kyd, Sarah Schachner, and Einar Selvik will cooperate to bring Ubisoft's vision of the Viking age to life. The exciting information comes from a listing posted on the German Ubisoft Store.
Fans of the long-running franchise should be more than happy to hear that the original composer of the series will return to the world of Assassin's Creed after a nine-year break (it's worth remembering that Kyd's soundtrack for 2011's AC: Revelations was co-created by Lorne Balfe, who went on to score 2012's AC III).
The fact that the award-winning Danish composer is joined by Sarah Schachner (AC: Origins, Anthem) and Einar Selvik (Norwegian musician known for his work on History's Vikings TV show) is also fantastic news.
With Ashraf Ismail (AC IV: Black Flag, AC: Origins) directing, Darby McDevitt (AC: Revelations, AC IV: Black Flag) writing, and the renowned trio scoring AC: Valhalla, the game is shaping up to be something special.
If you just can't wait to learn more about AC: Valhalla, be sure to check out the game's first gameplay trailer (although it features very little real footage) and mark your calendars, because the French company will showcase the upcoming title on the 12th of July, during the recently announced Ubisoft Forward event.
