Bethesda Softworks has released an action-packed accolades trailer for the id Software–developed Doom: Eternal, putting the spotlight on some of the fantastic reviews the brutal shooter has been getting since its huge March debut. As a reminder, the FPS is still coming to Switch, but it doesn't have a launch date yet.
Considering that Doom: Eternal is one of the best-reviewed video games of the year — currently sitting at a great 88% score on Metacritic — the title has definitely earned the right to get its own accolades trailer; something the team at Microsoft has been struggling to fully understand for quite some time now.
Thankfully, the American company is already thinking about Eternal's bright future, and you can take a closer look at two never-before-seen screenshots for the critically acclaimed game's first story DLC down below.
Although the newly released production's pulse-pounding soundtrack was created by Mick Gordon (Prey, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus), the renowned composer won't return to score the all-new expansion, as he has parted ways with Bethesda over the studio's half-baked sound-mixing for his Doom: Eternal OST.
Without further ado, check out the aforementioned accolades trailer and beautiful screenshots right now:
