Acclaimed Medieval RTS ANCESTORS LEGACY Will Be Released for Nintendo Switch on June 11

Ancestors Legacy — Destructive Creations' acclaimed real-time strategy game that was originally released in May 2018 — is officially coming to Nintendo Switch, as the title's brand-new console version will hit stores on the 11th of June, 2020. The information comes from an article posted on Polish website PolskiGamedev.

The fast-approaching port's physical edition will be officially published by GS2 Games. Unfortunately, the American company has not revealed any concrete details on the next Ancestors Legacy edition's pricing.

Funnily enough, the port was first announced in February by the good people at Amazon. According to the tech giant, the title was (allegedly) supposed to arrive on Nintendo Switch on May 19 (and later on July 14).

Ancestors Legacy debuted in 2018 to mostly positive reviews. Made by the team responsible for the hated Hatred, Ancestors Legacy "combines resource management and base building with large-scale, squad-based battles across vast Battlefields, all rendered in great detail thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 Tech."

Considering that Ancestors Legacy made its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One debut in 2019, the fact that it will also be available for Switch soon should make fans of the system and good real-time strategy games happy.

Ancestors Legacy is a squad-based real time strategy with a strong focus on tactics. Inspired by medieval European history, it brings to life four different nations and their conflicts, usually solved by war. Extensive single player campaign, skirmish fight and online battles. An RTS built for the controller right from the start.

Ancestors Legacy is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam and GOG); coming to Nintendo Switch on June 11, 2020.
