With F1 2020 making its debut in July, developer and publisher Codemasters is doing its best to promote the new racing game, this time releasing two never-before-seen trailers for this year's entry in the beloved F1 video game series. Although both videos are intense, the gameplay trailer also features the title's theme.
Said piece of music was composed by Brian Tyler, best known for his work on Avengers: Age of Ultron and Power Rangers. The artist also scored Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and the last two F1 games.
Celebrating the 70th anniversary of Formula 1, the recently announced production will give players a unique opportunity to "race some of the most desirable classic cars from the glorious history of F1," including 1992 Williams FW14, 2004 Ferrari F2004, 2008 McLaren MP4 –23, and 2009 Brawn BGP 001.
As a reminder, F1 2020 is not the only game in the works at Codemasters, as the team is also developing DiRT 5, which will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC this Autumn.
The other video is focused solely on the fiery Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the latest hot lap from the upcoming game. Without further ado, take a closer look at the all-new trailers for F1 2020 down below:
F1 2020 is the most comprehensive F1 game yet, putting players firmly in the driving seat as they race against the best drivers in the world. For the first time, players can create their own F1 team by creating a driver, then choosing a sponsor, an engine supplier, hiring a teammate and competing as the 11th team on the grid. Build facilities, develop the team over time and drive to the top.
F1 2020 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC (via Steam) on July 10, 2020.
