HALO 2 ANNIVERSARY Gets Action-Packed PC Launch Trailer; The All-New Port Is Available Now

Halo 2: Anniversary has finally arrived on PC — for the first time via Steam — giving PC players the chance to experience the second chapter in the acclaimed Halo saga and fight their way through 15 pulse-pounding story missions. The PC version's release date was officially announced by the team at Microsoft last week.
According to the publisher, the newly released PC version of 2014's Halo 2: Anniversary is fully optimised for PC and "looking better than ever at up to 4k UHD and at 60+ FPS. Other PC native settings include customizable mouse and keyboard support, ultrawide support, FOV customization, and more."
Although Halo 2: Anniversary is the next instalment in Halo: The Master Chief Collection (priced at $39.99 on Steam), the Saber Interactive–developed PC edition is also available as a separate purchase for $9.99.
Considering that Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and Halo 2: Anniversary are already playable on PC, it's safe to say that the rest of Halo: The Master Chief Collection — namely Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Campaign, and Halo 4 — will end up on Steam (and the Microsoft Store) sooner rather than later.
Be sure to take a look at the PC port of Halo 2: Anniversary in its action-packed launch trailer down below:
Halo 2: Anniversary comes to PC as the next installment in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Now optimized for PC, experience the impeccably remastered edition of the original Halo 2 game. Following the destruction of Halo, humankind experiences a short-lived victory. Eager for revenge, the Covenant launches a surprise attack on Earth, but they find themselves ill-prepared to defeat the UNSC’s home fleet and are forced to flee into slipspace. When the Master Chief pursues his overzealous enemies, they discover yet another Halo ring, uncovering long-buried secrets, including an unlikely ally, that will dramatically alter the course of the Human-Covenant Conflict forever.
Halo 2: Anniversary is currently available for Xbox 360, Xbox One & PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store).
