There's no denying that CD Projekt Red is currently focusing on polishing Cyberpunk 2077, but it doesn't have to mean that the beloved developer has completely forgotten about GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.
In fact, the studio has just announced the fan-favourite card game's fifth major expansion, titled GWENT: Master Mirror. The free content drop is coming to PC (via GOG and Steam), iOS and Android on June 30.
According to the award-winning team at CD Projekt Red, the fast-approaching DLC will introduce "over 70 new cards [...], themed after the shadowy, powerful influence of Gaunter O’Dimm — Master Mirror himself — and his role in key events in the Continent’s history. Among these new cards are faction-specific ones, including a brand new Legendary card type which evolves in both appearance and power as the battle progresses. 11 neutral cards are also included, which can be used across all GWENT factions. In addition, new statuses and abilities will also be introduced, bringing with them a fresh set of tricks and strategies to take advantage of in the heat of combat."
Furthermore, those fans who just can't wait to battle the sneaky Master Mirror in GWENT should be happy to hear that the Polish studio has already added a number of all-new digital packs to the in-game store.
These original pre-order bonuses will grant you access to "new cards from the expansion upon its release, with a unique Gaunter O’Dimm leader skin, as well as a Master Mirror-inspired cardback and title also available in specific packs — ready to equip in-game immediately following purchase."
