CYBERPUNK 2077 Shines in New Trailer, Key Art, Screenshots and Hours of Pure Gameplay Footage

A never-before-seen overview trailer, fantastic key art — focused solely on the main protagonist and Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand — action-packed screenshots, and hours of new gameplay footage — today has really been a great day for Cyberpunk 2077 news. Although CD Projekt's Night City Wire event has come to an end, at least two more entries in the Polish game developer's video series will air in the coming months.
First of all, "The Gig" trailer puts the spotlight on Cyberpunk 2077's most important characters — including your guardian angel (or devil on your shoulder, depending on how you want to look at it), portrayed by the beloved John Wick star — and main location: the wonderfully dystopian (yet extremely colourful) Night City.
Furthermore, CD Projekt released several new screenshots from Cyberpunk 2077 to make the wait for the RPG a little easier. As a reminder, the long-awaited title has been pushed back to November 19, 2020.
It's worth remembering that the makers of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt also announced an original Cyberpunk 2077 animated series earlier today. Titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the 10-episode show is being created at Studio Trigger (Little Witch Academia) and will premiere on Netflix two years from now, sometime in 2022.
Finally, some of the world's biggest outlets have had the chance to play the first four hours of Cyberpunk 2077, and to learn more about the project's game mechanics, check out their preview videos down below:
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you. Become a cyberpunk, an urban mercenary equipped with cybernetic enhancements and build your legend on the streets of Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and the EGS) on the 19th of November; coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season; will arrive on Google Stadia before the end of the year.
