Bandai Namco Releases Nearly 10 Minutes of THE DARK PICTURES: LITTLE HOPE Gameplay Footage
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak

Although The Dark Pictures: Little Hope will no longer make its debut this summer, it doesn't stop Bandai Namco from sharing new gameplay footage from Supermassive Games' follow-up to 2019's Man of Medan.
In The Dark Pictures: Little Hope — which will now hit stores sometime this fall — the player will decide the fate of five characters: four teenagers and their professor. After a school bus accident, they are forced to find shelter in the abandoned town of Little Hope. Trapped by a mysterious fog, the group will do whatever it takes to survive the attack of various Salem's Lot–like monsters, reanimated corpses, and vengeful ghosts.
Inspired by The Witch, The Blair Witch Project, Hellraiser, It Follows, The Omen, and Season of The Witch, The Dark Pictures: Little Hope will reportedly improve upon the Until Dawn studio's formula, with more intuitive quick time events, less annoying characters, and even an admirable effort to not rely solely on jump scares.
Quite interestingly, the project's main protagonist is played by Will Poulter (Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Midsommar), and what's even better, he's also portraying his evil 17th-century New England doppelganger.
To learn more about the long-awaited second entry in Supermassive's Dark Pictures series, take a closer look at the recently released gameplay footage — focused mostly on Poulter's brave character — down below:
You've survived the raging South Pacific Seas, but a new nightmare is looming. Meet the brave souls who faced down the Man of Medan and prepare yourself for the inescapable horrors that will find you in the Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope!
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this fall.
