Critically Acclaimed RTS DESPERADOS III Receives an Action-Packed Accolades Trailer

Although the beloved RTS genre has definitely seen better times, Mimimi Games' Desperados III is not only the best-reviewed real-time strategy game of 2020, but also one the highest-rated video games of the year.

Designed by the Munich-based team that gave us 2014's The Last Tinker: City of Colors and 2016's Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, Desperados III is currently sitting at a truly fantastic 86% score on Metacritic.

Quite surprisingly, THQ Nordic's Desperados III was announced back in August 2018 as a full-blown sequel to Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge, which made its debut over fourteen years ago. At its core, the threequel is a spiritual successor to Blades of the Shogun, but with even more stealth-focused gameplay mechanics.

Considering that Desperados III is a critically acclaimed game, it shouldn't be surprising that THQ Nordic has released an accolades trailer for the RTS, putting the spotlight on all the good reviews it has been getting.

Without further ado, take a closer look at the action-packed accolades trailer for Desperados III down below:

Desperados III is a story-driven, hardcore tactical stealth game, set in a ruthless Wild West scenario. Play smart if you want to succeed. A good plan can make the difference between survival and finding yourself at the business end of a pistol.

Desperados III is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam and GOG).
