CD Projekt Red has released a wonderful launch trailer for the latest GWENT: The Witcher Card Game story expansion — Master Mirror — putting the spotlight on the DLC's core features and never-before-seen cards.
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game's fifth major content drop is now available on PC and mobile devices with iOS and Android for free. As a reminder, the developer is no longer supporting the game's console versions.
According to CD Projekt, Master Mirror introduces over 70 new cards themed after "the powerful influence of Gaunter O’Dimm — Master Mirror himself — and his role in key events in the Continent’s history. Among these new cards are faction-specific ones, including a brand new Legendary card type which evolves in both appearance and power as the battle progresses. 11 neutral cards are also included, which can be used across all GWENT factions. In addition, new statuses and abilities [are] introduced, bringing with them a fresh set of tricks and strategies to take advantage of in the heat of combat."
To celebrate the release of the long-awaited expansion, the limited-time Gaunter’s Ultimate Challenge event is now live, allowing all fans of the popular card game to support their favourite faction, complete all-new challenges, and fight for unique prices. Be swift, as said event will come to an end on the 5th of August.
