New SHADOW WARRIOR Will Be Announced Soon, Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital Say

In a surprising turn of events, Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital have announced that a full-blown sequel to 2016's Shadow Warrior 2 will be revealed in the very near future, perhaps even as soon as next Saturday.
Yesterday, a new message appeared on the official Shadow Warrior Twitter, featuring an image of a bamboo panel with this simple text: "Teaser trailer filming in progress. Quiet please!" The header photo was also changed, now showcasing the iconic bamboo forest from the 2013 reboot with dead bodies lying around.
Considering that the recently revealed Devolver Direct event will take place on June 11 (at 12PM PST), it's safe to say that the publisher will put the spotlight on the long-running series' future during its E3-like show.
Quite interestingly, Flying Wild Hog CEO Michał Szustak said in February that the studio was planning to reveal two brand-new games this year, so there's a small chance that the other title will also be unveiled at next week's Devolver Direct. Unfortunately, the ongoing pandemic might have ruined the studio's plans.
While we're patiently waiting for the announcement of Shadow Warrior 3, a never-before-seen screenshot from the title has made its way online. Be sure to take a look at both aggressively red images down below:
