PRINCE OF PERSIA Composer Joins OUTRIDERS; Square Enix Releases Pyromancer-Focused Footage
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2, and The Medium are not the only bid-budget games created by Polish developers that will be released later this year, as People Can Fly is working hard on its new IP – Outriders.
According to the Warsaw-based company — the award-winning makers of Painkiller, Bulletstorm, and Gears of War: Judgement — Outriders will bring something new to the old "looter shooter" table, mixing traditional The Division-esque gameplay mechanics with an engaging storyline and advanced character progression.
During yesterday's Outriders-focused live stream, People Can Fly and Square Enix revealed some fascinating details on the Pyromancer and his fire-based abilities. In the new third-person shooter, the Pyromancer is basically a wizard, capable of incapacitating many enemies at once and creating dangerous thermal bombs.
Furthermore, the Polish studio officially confirmed that Inon Zur will score their most ambitious project to date. The renowned artist is probably best known to gaming fans for his work with Ubisoft on the Prince of Persia franchise. Zur also collaborated with Bethesda on 2008's Fallout 3 and 2010's Fallout: New Vegas.
