GREEDFALL Makers Will Announce Their Next Big Thing During Nacon Connect This Tuesday

Spiders' next video game will officially be published by Nacon, as the mysterious project will be showcased during the French company's Nacon Connect event, which will take place on the 7th of July at 7PM CEST.

Quite interestingly, the Paris-based developer's new video game is their first title that has nothing to do with Focus Home Interactive. As a reminder, Nacon (formerly Bigben Interactive) acquired Spiders in July 2019 to increase the company's "know-how in the development of video games in the AA strategic segment."

For those unfamiliar with Spiders' works, the award-winning studio was responsible for creating some of the most popular mid-budget video games of the last decade, including 2012's Of Orcs And Men, 2013's Mars: War Logs, 2014's Bound By Flame, 2016's The Technomancer, and finally their biggest title, 2019's GreedFall.

Although the E3-like show will begin soon, the publisher has already released the first screenshot for the all-new project. The image itself may be a bit confusing — as it seemingly features some futuristic tech and an exoskeleton — but its overall aesthetics are very GreedFall-esque, so there's a chance that Spiders is working on a sequel to that RPG (sadly, it's not clear if Nacon is the owner of all intellectual property rights to the IP).

While we're waiting for the announcement of Spiders' new game, check out its first screenshot down below:
