The team at Microsoft has some excellent news for all PC gamers, as Halo 3 is officially coming to PC (via the Microsoft Store and Steam) on the 14th of July as the fourth instalment of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
As a friendly reminder, Halo: Reach, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary & Halo 2 Anniversary are already available on PC, with Halo 3 ODST (without any online modes) and Halo 4 releasing on PC in the near future.
According to Microsoft, the Ruffian Games and Saber Interactive–created version of Halo 3 is fully optimised for PC, "looking better than ever at up to 4k UHD and at 60+ FPS. Other PC native settings include customizable mouse and keyboard support, ultrawide support, FOV customization, and more."
The Master Chief Collection is priced at $31.99 on Steam, but the PC port of Halo 3 will also be available as a separate purchase for $9.99; just like Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary & Halo 2: Anniversary.
