Crytek's CRYSIS REMASTERED Will Arrive on Nintendo Switch Later This Month After All

In a surprising turn of events, Crytek has partially reversed its recent decision to delay Crysis Remastered's release date, with the Nintendo Switch port of the title now being released on July 23 as originally planned.
Unfortunately, the other versions of the Saber Interactive–developed remaster — namely its PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC editions — still don't have a new launch window and will arrive at some point this year.
At the beginning of the month, the publisher announced that the remaster of the 2007 technological marvel had been pushed back to allow Saber "take the time on polishing the game" and "get Crysis Remastered up to the PC- and console-breaking standards you've come to expect from Crysis games."
Considering that the Switch version of Crysis Remastered will hit stores on the originally intended release date of July 23, it sounds like Saber and Crytek are pretty happy with the quality of their upcoming project.
With Crysis Remastered making its Switch debut later this month, we should learn a lot more about the title's graphical enhancements — that probably won't bring anything truly new to the table — in the near future.
