Giancarlo Esposito's Ruthless Dictator Anton Rises in First Teaser Trailer for FAR CRY 6

Hot on the heels of this morning's major Far Cry 6 leak, Ubisoft has officially released the very first teaser trailer for the long-rumoured Far Cry 5 follow-up, focusing on the shooter's main bad guy — Anton Castillo.

Although Far Cry 6 will be showcased in all its glory during this Sunday's Ubisoft Forward (at 9PM CEST), the French company has already confirmed that the new member of Far Cry's "rogues gallery" — which also includes Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed — is played by Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito.

That's right, the award-winning star of Better Call Saul and The Mandalorian will bring yet another Far Cry madman to life. In the series' sixth numbered entry, the protagonist — a guerrilla fighter named Danny — will face off against not only Esposito's ruthless dictator Anton Castillo, but also his teenage son, Diego.

Rumour has it that Far Cry 6 serves as a Far Cry 3 prequel, with Diego being portrayed by another Better Call Saul actor: Michael Mando, who played Vaas in the 2012 title. Considering that Far Cry 6 will step into the spotlight in two days time, we will see whether the beloved villain makes a return sooner rather than later.

Without further ado, take a closer look at the first teaser trailer for Ubisoft Montreal's Far Cry 6 down below:
