PC Version of Éric Chahi's VR Experience PAPER BEAST Will Be Released on July 24, 2020

The team at Pixel Reef has some pretty great news for all fans of Éric Chahi's unique works who don't have a PS VR headset, as the PC edition of Paper Beast will make its debut later this month, on the 24th of July.

According to the Montpellier-based game developer, Paper Beast's fast-approaching PC port will support a wide variety of VR devices, including Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and even Windows Mixed Reality.

For those unfamiliar with Paper Beast, the action-adventure project was released exclusively on PS VR in March. Currently sitting at a sweet 79% score on Metacritic, Paper Beast remains one of the best-reviewed VR games of the year that should definitely be on your radar if you're a fan of Chahi's philosophy of design.

In case you're hearing about the award-winning French artist for the first time, Chahi is a true visionary who's created countless groundbreaking games such as Another World, Heart of Darkness, and From Dust.

Without further ado, take a closer look at the latest gameplay trailer for Chahi's recent creation down below:

Somewhere deep down in the vast memory of a data server, an ecosystem has emerged. Decades of lost code and algorithms have accumulated in the eddies and flows of the Internet. A small bubble of life has blossomed. Paper Beast is born.

Paper Beast is now available on PS VR, coming PC and VR devices (including Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality) on July 24, 2020.
