SIN CITY–Esque Turn-Based Strategy OTHERCIDE Shines in Intense Gameplay Overview Trailer

Othercide is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this month, and if you just can't wait to play the Games of Glory studio's strategy game, Focus Home Interactive has shared a fresh trailer for the X-COM–like title.

The newly revealed gameplay overview trailer for Lightbulb Crew's Othercide basically serves as a detailed summary of the fast-approaching turn-based strategy game's core gameplay features (that should make all fans of this year's Gears Tactics more than happy) — and its completely original Dynamic Timeline System.

According to the French developer, Othercide's Dynamic Timeline System allows players to control not only what your own squad of the Daughters — described as "echoes of the greatest warrior to ever live" — is going to do during their turn, but also when things happen, giving you a chance to interrupt enemy attacks before they even occur and unleash a highly damaging series of combos under the right circumstances.

That's not all, as Focus Home recently shared two all-new videos that focus on Othercide's art style — clearly inspired by Robert Rodriguez's Sin City (and also Frank Miller's original comic book series) — and its origins.

With Othercide launching on the 28th of July, we will definitely learn a whole lot more about the brand-new strategy game in the very near future. In the meantime, take a closer look at its latest trailers down below:

Othercide is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) on July 28, 2020.
