Yoko Taro's NIER: REINCARNATION Emerges From the Shadows in Action-Packed Trailer

Publisher Square Enix has released an action-packed gameplay trailer for NieR Re[in]carnation, an all-new mobile entry in the long-running action-RPG series that is coming exclusively to iOS and Android devices.

Said video puts the spotlight on the well-known world of NieR and the upcoming game's main characters trapped inside the mysterious Cage, a strange — almost oneiric — structure built by long-gone creatures.

If you just can't wait to play director Yoko Taro's next big thing, the good news is that the long-awaited NieR Re[in]carnation closed beta will start in Japan on the 29th of July at 1PM JST and end on the 5th of August at 12:59PM JST. To participate in the ongoing round of testing, you need to register on the game's website and have some luck, as only 20,000 players will be able to test the game's core features before anyone else.

As a reminder, the mobile title is not the only NieR game Square Enix is working on, as the all-new remake of the first game — titled NieR Replicant Ver.1.22474487139 — will arrive at some point in the future.

Without further ado, take a closer look at the latest gameplay trailer for NieR Re[in]carnation down below:
