Cyberpunk World of GHOSTRUNNER Comes to Life in Four Phenomenal Pieces of Concept Art
Although Ghostrunner's release date remains a big mystery, Polish publisher All in! Games is ramping up the first-person title's marketing campaign, this time sharing a bunch of concept art for the brand-new IP.
Ghostrunner takes place in a cyberpunk world (you read that right, Cyberpunk 2077 is not the only Polish game influenced by the Mike Pondsmith–created universe that will launch in 2020) where all political power is concentrated in the hands of a shadowy figure known as the Architect, the maker of a mysterious Tower.
The newly released concept art showcases the dystopian beauty of The Tower — Ghostrunner's main setting. During the protagonist's journey, he will do whatever it takes to reach the top of the building and challenge the status quo — as the man with the answers has died years ago, with the dark city spiralling into chaos.
Funnily enough, Ghostrunner will be available not only for PS4, XBO, and PC (via Steam and GOG), but also Nintendo Switch — and channelling your inner Prince of Persia on the go seems like an idea worth pursuing.
Considering that Ghostrunner will arrive later this year, we will learn a whole lot more about the One More Level–developed game in the coming months. In the meantime, check out the new concept art down below:
Enter an intense cyberpunk world and experience fierce, dynamic combat! Conquer your enemies in the physical world and in cyberspace. Hunt for answers in humanity’s last remaining shelter. Ascend humanity’s last remaining shelter, a great tower-city. The tower is torn by violence, poverty, and chaos. Conquer your enemies, discover the secrets of the superstructure and your own origin and obtain the power to challenge The Keymaster.
Ghostrunner is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) in 2020; will arrive on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
