Bungie Reveals New Details on DESTINY 2: BEYOND LIGHT; DLC Will Arrive on Xbox Game Pass on Day One

The team at Bungie has some fantastic news for all Xbox One players, as Destiny 2: Beyond Lightwhich was recently pushed back to November 10, 2020 — will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

That's right, the new DLC will arrive on Xbox One via Xbox Game Pass, so you will be able to play it as much as you want for a month for $9.99 (or a mere $1 if you haven't given the subscription service a chance yet).

Furthermore, Microsoft is officially working with Bungie to "bring Destiny 2 Expansions with Xbox Game Pass for PC later in 2021." Considering that the original Halo creators are also working on a next-gen port of their award-winning shooter, it's safe to say that Destiny 2's immediate future has never been so bright.

Quite interestingly, the sequel's Xbox Series X edition will not only support 4K and HDR, but also its Smart Delivery feature, meaning that you will be able to pick up where you left off on the console of your choice.

To learn more about Destiny 2: Beyond Light, take a look at its action-packed gameplay trailer down below:

A new power is born out of the ancient Pyramid Ship above Europa's frozen frontier, and a dark empire has risen beneath, united under the banner of the Fallen Kell of Darkness, Eramis. Join your fellow Guardians and bring down the empire at any cost – even if it means wielding the Darkness itself.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC (via Steam) on November 10, 2020.
