Polish developer and publisher MS Games has shared some never-before-seen Land of War - The Beginning gameplay footage, giving us our first look at the core features of the all-new FPS set during World War II.
In Land of War - The Beginning — which will arrive on PC (via Steam) at some point this year — the player takes on the role of a young Polish soldier who gets involved in the massive war effort to stop the Germans.
Inspired by the Medal of Honor series and the first two Call of Duty games, Land of War - The Beginning will give you a chance to fight against Nazi aggression in Europe on foot, driving various historically accurate armoured vehicles, and even flying an airplane. The FPS takes place between 1939-1940 for the most part.
According to the indie developer, the aforementioned gameplay is early pre-alpha and does not reflect the final look of the title. The Warsaw-based company is currently focusing on tree things: reworking animations to make them feel more realistic, creating a complex sound system, and improving overall lighting quality.
Considering that Land of War - The Beginning will make its debut later this year, we should learn a whole lot more about the FPS in the coming months. In the meantime, take a look at the all-new footage down below:
