PIKMIN 3 DELUXE Will Be Released for Switch on October 30, Nintendo Has Announced

After years of teasing fans, the team at Nintendo has officially confirmed that the long-rumoured Nintendo Switch version of 2013's real-time strategy game Pikmin 3 is real and will be available on October 30, 2020.

That's right, the Switch port of Pikmin 3 — titled Pikmin 3 Deluxe — will make its long-awaited debut this fall, allowing you to re-experience the glory of one of the best-reviewed Wii U–exclusive games in history.

Thankfully, the fast-approaching Pikmin 3 port will introduce some never-before-seen features, including: co-op ("journey through the main story in two player co-op on the same console!"), new adventures ("go it alone or team up with a friend to take on brand new prologue and epilogue stories starring Pikmin and Pikmin 2 heroes Olimar and Louie!"), the so-called Piklopedia ("unlock profile entries for each character and find out their unique perspectives on each creature you discover"), and finally plenty of sweet quality of life improvements ("expand your exploration with an enhanced lock-on targeting system, enemy balancing changes, multiple difficulty modes, optional hints and more").

The digital version of Pikmin 3 Deluxe is priced at $59.99 (and you can pre-order it on the game's website.

Considering that Pikmin 3 Deluxe will arrive in a couple of months, we will definitely leanr a whole lot more about its new mechanics in the coming weeks. In the meantime, take a look at its reveal trailer down below:
