HITMAN 3 - VR Announcement Trailer Proves That Agent 47 Is the World's Worst Party Crasher

IO Interactive has some pretty fantastic news for all fans of Agent 47's bloody adventures, as the upcoming Hitman III — and its two critically acclaimed predecessors — will be fully playable in virtual reality at launch.

That's right, you will be able to experience the relentless assassin's all-new journey in first-person, which will definitely make his "most important assignment yet" more exciting and personal, for lack of a better word.

Considering that the cross-gen threequel will allow you to import locations from both Hitman and Hitman 2, you will have a truly unique chance to revisit his most recent adventures from a completely new perspective.

Unfortunately, we know next to nothing about Hitman 3 VR, as the studio has not revealed any concrete details about the game's VR version yet. Considering that it was announced at today's State of Play event, it's safe to say that Hitman 3 will support PS VR — so fans of other headsets will have to remain patient.

Without further ado, take a closer look at the action-packed reveal trailer for Hitman 3 VR down below:

Agent 47 returns as a ruthless professional in HITMAN 3 for the most important contracts of his entire career. Embark on an intimate journey of darkness and hope in the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. Death awaits.

Hitman 3 is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PS VR, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia, and PC in January 2021.
