VADER IMMORTAL: A STAR WARS VR SERIES Is Coming to PlayStation VR on August 25, 2020
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
During yesterday's State of Play digital show, Sony confirmed that the highly anticipated PS VR version of ILMxLAB's critically acclaimed Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series will make its debut on August 25.
For those unfamiliar with Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, it's a three-part experience set on Mustafar, the Sith Lord's home. The story takes place between Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: A New Hope, and is connected to the events of ILMxLAB's other VR title, 2017's Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire.
Written by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), the three episodes will be sold as a single purchase at $29.99. The PC VR edition of the game also includes the Lightsaber Dojo modes.
"Vader Immortal holds a very special place in our hearts at ILMxLAB and we are very excited to be bringing this to PlayStation VR," ILMxLAB Producer Harvey Whitney told the PlayStation Blog. "This allows even more fans to experience the first Star Wars story designed exclusively for virtual reality."
