PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE DAGGER OF TIME: Ubisoft Shares Intense Trailer for New VR Experience

Ubisoft has released a live-action trailer for Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time, an all-new VR title that's being developed by the studio behind Assassin’s Creed: Beyond Medusa’s Gate and Escape the Lost Pyramid.

According to Ubisoft Düsseldorf, Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time gives "teams of up to four players the chance to work together to solve puzzles and use the titular artifact’s powers to stop, rewind, or fast-forward time." Unfortunately, the upcoming title's official release date has not been announced yet.

It's worth remembering that the next entry in the beloved Prince of Persia series is a location-based "Escape Room" experience. Thankfully, the long-awaited project is coming to over 300 escape rooms all round the world, so you should be able to give it a try in your area (especially if you live in Europe or the Americas).

Considering that the publisher is clearly not planning to release a major Prince of Persia production anytime soon, fans of the iron-willed character and his gravity-defying skills should keep an eye on the German studio's new take on the franchise — as it's the first Prince of Persia title since 2010's The Forgotten Sands.
