IO Interactive Discusses Core Features of HITMAN 3 - VR; PlayStation Version Supports Move Controllers

There's no denying that the recent announcement of Hitman 3 - VR has made a lot of fans happy, and if you just can't wait to play the game in first-person, some new details about the mode have been revelaed.

First of all, Danish developer — and also publisher — IO Interactive has confirmed that the PS VR version of Hitman 3 will put your Move controllers to good use, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world of the game — and maybe more importantly, take Agent 47's most personal assignment into your own hands. 

"The shooting is phenomenal," Hitman 3 Senior Game Designer Eskil Mohl said. "Holding your own guns, blind firing around a corner because you can stick your arm out all of a sudden. Also, the vegetation in the game, when you go down there, you're in this shrubbery, and they [enemies] can't see you, but you have a hard time seeing them as well. Suddenly, they're on top of you, where you're just looking up to see their faces. Having to deal with them from that position, which is really, really powerful."

Unfortunately, it's still not clear whether or not Hitman 3 - VR will also arrive on other popular VR systems such as Oculus Rift, HTC Wive, and Valve Index. Considering that the threequel is supposed to make its big debut early next year, the team at IO Interactive will definitely clear up the confusion in the coming months.

Hitman 3 is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PS VR, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia, and PC in January 2021.
