Razputin Aquato Is the Main Star of Wonderfully Trippy PSYCHONAUTS 2 Magazine Cover
Psychonauts 2 may have been delayed to 2021, but it doesn't stop Double Fine from releasing some pretty cool promotional material for the long-awaited sequel starring Razputin “Raz” Aquato and his odd friends.
Thanks to Jack Black (who played the protagonist of Double Fine's Brütal Legend), we can take a look at over four minutes of colourful — and maybe more importantly, super trippy — gameplay footage from the title. Considering that we're talking about psychedelic visuals, it may cause seizures in some people with epilepsy.
That's not all, as everyone's favourite Razputin is also the main star of this month's Edge Magazine (#349).
It's worth remembering that Psychonauts 2 is still coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC, despite the fact that Double Fine is now part of Microsoft's in-house Xbox Game Studios family. It's possible that the long-delayed action-adventure production will be the last Double Fine–designed video game to ever launch on a Sony console, so let's hope the studio's goodbye to PlayStation will live up to expectations.
To learn more about the crazy world of Psychonauts 2, check out the magazine cover and video down below:
Razputin Aquato, trained acrobat and powerful young psychic, has realized his life long dream of joining the international psychic espionage organization known as the Psychonauts! But these psychic super spies are in trouble. Their leader hasn't been the same since he was kidnapped, and what's worse, there's a mole hiding in headquarters. Raz must use his powers to stop the mole before they execute their secret plan--to bring the murderous psychic villain, Maligula, back from the dead!
Psychonauts 2 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC (via Steam) in 2021.
